Jodi Sleeper-Triplett, MCC, SCAC, BCC - Helping Parents Get Into a Coaching Mindset

Jodi is most known as the pioneer of ADHD coaching for youth and her research-based JST Coaching Model for Success which is detailed in her book, Empowering Youth with ADHD.

The JST Coaching Model has been used by thousands of coaches and educational professionals in 35 countries.  All of the coaches participating in the 2010 Edge Foundation ADHD Coaching Research Study used the JST model in their coaching and the results showed improvement in student skill, will, and self-regulation.

Something that really impresses me about Jodi is that she is a pioneer in this field. She developed the first coach training program focused on coaching students with ADHD ever.

Parenting pre-teens and teens is a challenging undertaking! This is a stage of emerging independence and “push back” against parental involvement.Parents want their children to succeed, and their definition of success may differ from their pre-teens and teens, increasing overwhelm and anxiety for those with ADHD and executive function challenges.

Learn how to breathe deeply and give your teens the space to learn, make choices, experience disappointment, and then bounce back to discover options and opportunities.Shifting to a coaching mindset takes practice, strategies, and patience. Jodi will teach us how to have a better relationship with your teen.
