One thing about Elizabeth that impressed me is she’s a collaborator on the Zones of Regulation curriculum, which is a systematic, cognitive behavioral approach using four colored zones to categorize the ways people feel and recognize the states of alertness they experience. Which helps teach self-regulation.

As we are focused on supporting high schoolers with ADHD, we know that social and emotional development is a critical element of their growth and success in life. And it is essential to think about all of the people involved in supporting each teen…including the home and school.

In this interactive workshop, Elizabeth and Julian will share a bottom-up approach to supporting social and emotional learning using the 3 Cs (Care, Co-Regulation and Communication). They will dive into each of these and provide a perspective from three aspects and point of views that are most important in a high-schoolers life…a) home b) school and c) self.

We will also practice some of the evidence-based tools together and you will walk away with strategies to implement yourself with the higher schooler that you love and support.
