Dr. Varleisha Gibbs – Self-Regulation Techniques: Unveiling Neurological and Sensory Aspects, as it Relates to Trauma & Sensory Processing Disorders

She is most known for her Approaches to Self-Regulation and Connecting Neurological Function to Sensory Dysfunction; she also has a book titled Self-Regulation and Mindfulness and another called Raising Kids with Sensory Processing Disorders

Today we’ll be sharing some of the exact same strategies [Dr. Gibbs] used with thousands of practitioners and families in her work as an occupational therapist

Something about Varleisha that really impressed me is her focus on neurology and how that informs her techniques.
