For girls with ADHD, middle school marks a critical time in their development. Dr. Littman’s presentation will explore current research regarding why they’re under-diagnosed, girls’ unique development factors and unique pattern of functional impairments, what are the common experiences for girls with ADHD and what are the risks.

We will discuss and practice ways to help families empower girls and their families to cope with the symptoms of ADHD and give the girls support as needed.

By the end of it, you will have a better understanding of the expectations, treatment plan, resources and tools needed to support your middle-school-aged girl in facing the critical time of transitioning to young adolescence.
